Former Senior Managing Director - Al Futtaim Group, Commercial & Banking (UAE) — headed a regulated consumer finance entity specializing in retail and SME lending and merchant payment services, including credit card solutions, oversight of 6Bn of annual lending and on-balance sheet funding facilities, facilities across 18 markets, 32 banking partners, numerous insurers and 200+ points of sale across automotive, retail and real estate; Board Member for AFF-UAE, AMWCL-Sri Lanka, and CMC-Kenya, and Chair of the Group Credit Committee and Consumer Finance Advisory board.
Former Director (Interim CEO) – GE Capital — formed a new green-field Financial Services Company in the UAE, gaining UAE Central Bank approvals and a Consumer Finance License. He subsequently implemented multiple business strategies across 30+ countries to increase NEA, Net Income and Customer Access, and was a member of the Credit Risk Committee, Responsible Lending management team, and NPS strategy global initiative.
